Tobogganing is one of the big winter activities here. Every Christmas holiday, the 'hill' is where everyone meets to catch upon each other's news. #TRLT #SnowandIce

replying to @LindaPeters64 @LindaPeters64 A3: also -- dog-sledding and sleigh-riding; did the former in Banff and the latter in the Eastern Townships of Quebec. I sometimes think, because we have to much of it, Canadians know how to really enjoy ice and snow. #TRLT

replying to @aok_NW @aok_NW @ArchesNPS That reminds me of surprise snow at Zion NP which looked cool against the red rocks. And other surprise snow at Glacier NP! In the fall I guess snow should not surprise you! Can be warm one day and snow the next. #trlt 🗺: https://t.co/oHdxDfOg5o

A4: Seeing a portion of river in Finnish Lapland that still flowed in temperatures heading beyond -20 Celsius whereas every other waterway was frozen. #TRLT
replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @CaitlinKellyNYC A4. No pics but I think one snow memory that always makes me laugh is how shocked I was to see snow on palm trees in Japan back in high school. #trlt
replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel A4: One December, I flew into an Arctic village of 500 people, landing on a tiny ice strip, greeted by villagers (for a Montreal Gazette story.) Had never been to a place where all you saw was ice, water, snow. Flew home through 2 halves of an iceberg. ❤️❤️❤️ #TRLT
replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @LindaPeters64 A3 Struggling along the dual carriageway from Bingley to Keighley to get to the courier for the Covid infection study on Sunday. @findinganeish @TheTravelCamel @TravelAtWill i've not seen snow since I moved to Scotland. #trlt now granted I only moved in August, but still .... :D
The lake in Queen's Park was slightly iced up on Sunday morning, but that doesn't count.
