We were at Eibsee at the end of a November. We’ll never forget how beautiful it was with about a foot of snow on the ground and not a soul around. That was a nice quiet time.

#trlt A4: it happens very rarely. There were a couple of nights hiking across Great Britain where we were in very much nowhere, but there was still some birdsong at least, and wind, and general nature noise.

replying to @RTWBarefoot #trlt A4: My room, in Sheffield, UK. I'd say around April 2020. It was at the start of the Covid restrictions. I was lying in bed, must have been about 6, 7am, and I could hear *nothing*. No people, no traffic, no birds. Everything was still, everything was silence. Eerie.
