A5: Respect the park and follow the local rules. Don't get off the path, don't engage with wild animals, don't litter. #TRLT

A5 In US, buy the annual pass. Saves a ton of money if you visit a lot of national parks. Great #roadtrip #travel plan. I think I will do more in 2022. #trlt #funness https://t.co/0beYjqAeAx

A5: Go during the shoulder season and mid-week. Don't go while students are out of school. Dress for the change of seasons as most likely it will be late Spring and late Fall or even Winter via @TravelAtWill #TRLT #adventure

A5 #TRLT Do some research before going just to see what there is to see & do & see if the roads are open or still snowed in. Most parks have Twitter pages such as @BadlandsNPS pictured below. Not a bad idea to book things in advance if you can.

replying to @HeidiSiefkas @HeidiSiefkas @TravelAtWill A5) Be glad that you made it there since many don't have the opportunity to visit, don't be disappointed that you're not going to get that perfect photograph & respect the wildlife by keeping a safe distance away. #TRLT

A5. Major U.S. National Parks can be like going to Disney World, lots of crowds. Plan well & be patient! photo: My son in Lake Yellowstone. #TRLT

A5. Try to find a decent place to stock up on food and water prior to park entry, and generally prior to the rip-off places near the park entry; the in-park options are universally dire and/or criminally overpriced. #TRLT

A5: Tips for visitors to National Parks? Plan ahead of time, as some parks are to vast and busy to see all of in one visit. Be prepared to stay scent free and to be bear aware. Bring extra water, snacks and hats for hot, sunny days.

replying to @LindaPeters64 @LindaPeters64 @TravelAtWill A5. Go so super early. I’ve gone before sunrise many times and every time I think it was worth it. Or go later and stay later for sunset and stars! Sunrise @ Canyonlands: https://t.co/DvOWYmMZqz Sunset & star gazing @ Arches https://t.co/cRsXnlLY84 #trlt

replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @TravelAtWill A5 #TRLT Spend time observing. Getting just .5 mile from major park attractions gives you a different experience. Do the visitor center, watch the park movie, take a ranger tour. Treat the land well. Don't disturb wildlife. Camp if you can. Take time to reflect on your experience
