A5 #TRLT Do some research before going just to see what there is to see & do & see if the roads are open or still snowed in. Most parks have Twitter pages such as @BadlandsNPS pictured below. Not a bad idea to book things in advance if you can.

A5. Try to find a decent place to stock up on food and water prior to park entry, and generally prior to the rip-off places near the park entry; the in-park options are universally dire and/or criminally overpriced. #TRLT

It’s high altitude up on Nyika Plateau provides wonderful grassland and wooded valleys.
