A2 opportunity to explore the world slowly and connecting with people and taking recommendations on their fashion. Like for instance this. I look ridiculous, but that’s the fun #TRLT

A2: Everyone should consider Slow Travel, the connections we make become a part of who we are; the benefits are impactful giving us opportunities to enjoy and learn new things, creating heartwarming memories to savour & spark joy.

Near Marea del Portillo. Not so much a highway as storm-beaten track next to / on the beach. I'm not so much SLOW as intimate and unfettered. Month in 2009 was a lot different than 2015

replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @CharlesMcCool A2: You can peel a few more layers away from a place. You can see and take time to accept the grittier sides. You can connect with people. and become 'a regular' at a pub ;-) #TRLT

replying to @LindaPeters64 @LindaPeters64 @CharlesMcCool A2) Someone should consider "Slow Travel" because it allows both your mind & body to relax. John Muir didn't like the word "Hike" and like to use the word "Saunter" to describe his walks in Yosemite for that reason. #TRLT

replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @loyaltytravels A1. #SlowTravel When m truly able to connect w myself & the surrounding w/out stressing on the life I ve taken break from. When m able to hear birds chirp, smell the flowers, caress the breeze and walk the trail. More relaxing and less running.

replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @LindaPeters64 A3 I originally went to Aksum in Ethiopia to see the ruins of the Queen of Sheba's palace and the resting place of the fabled Ark, but ended up staying a lot longer than planned and was invited to witness the night parade of the Tabot, a truly mind-blowing experience #TRLT

A3: Having a traditional curanto on Chiloe Island in Chile, with a local family who only spoke Spanish. Back then, I didn't speak Spanish, but still we understood each other. It was such a special experience. #TRLT

replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @CharlesMcCool A2. For peace of mind, to disconnect with the monotony of life and to be able to see things beyond horizon. The limitlessness of travel is quite underrated.
