replying to @CaribbeanAndCo @CaribbeanAndCo @TheTravelCamel @LindaPeters64 Yup; I do this a lot when I travel. I've sat for hours in markets just talking and eating and observing. You can meet the entire town if you time it right and learn about all the local "gossip" too #TRLT

replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel A5. I usually do not do slow travel as i dont get many holidays. I try to squeeze in a lot of places, as there's so much to see in this world. But i do try to keep a day or 2 free based on my vacay to unwind & connect w nature. Do nothing & just gaze at sky/mountains/waves #trlt

Regional specialities celebrate seasonal and local produce (most people grow their own). Puglia is the breadbasket of Italy, and gave the world burrata. We are Italy’s top regional olive oil producer. Primitivo anyone? #TRLT

A5: Managing Slow Travel is to ignore external pressure to do more and see more - take the time to travel at a pace that is comfortable for you. #TRLT

replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @ramblRramblR #TRLT A4 our Central WA Ag Museum is around 15 acres & is perfect for a slow & meandering pace. Many of exhibits are outside & there are several cabins & homes also. Beautiful grounds - bring a picnic lunch as well. People will spend hours exploring & relaxing. And it's free.
