replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @ramblRramblR Hiking the wild hills of Mlanda & Ntcheu is a fantastic ‘slow travel’ activity in Malawi. There is so much to see when you take time to look! #orchids #wildife #fauna #mountains 🇲🇼 #TRLT

replying to @JLipowski @JLipowski @ramblRramblR A4) A Winter visit to Zion National Park is a good "Slow Travel" activity because it's usually uncrowded that time of year & you're able to get around more freely. #TRLT

A4. I would say: go with the flow !! As I did when exploring Luxor and Karnak, Egypt 🇪🇬 I took a small fishing boat across the Nile and wondered around the dunes on a proud camel 🐪 (my first!) as the hot day gave in to a cooler dusk… priceless ! no photos though …. 😍🙏 #TRLT https://t.co/orhk6pOVDN

replying to @loyaltytravels @loyaltytravels @CaitlinKellyNYC @RTWBarefoot @BradtGuides @epicureanexpats @TheTravelCamel We ditch the car whenever we can on our Canadian roadtrips. This always leads to discovery. Judging by the the trophy wall on this house, its owner knows how to bag a moose and is proud of it. #TRLT

#Q5: How do you manage to Slow Travel in this age and time when everything is on fast track? Share your experience and suggestions. via @junkkdna #TRLT

Q5. Slow Travel isn’t necessarily about doing things ‘slowly’ – it’s more about thinking carefully about what you choose to do. Whether that’s a simple walk in the park or a trip to a local farm shop, it’s about taking the time to appreciate your surroundings. #TRLT

A5: Don't go by plane or car. Train, boat, bike or walk can all qualify as #SlowTravel. The Trans-Siberian Express is the slowest 'express' train ever! There's nothing like messing about on the river - as these images from Henley's River and Rowing Museum show. @junkkdna #TRLT

Or rather, some places are famous-for-being-famous so the desire is to be *at* them, but they're not actually interesting enough to linger more than a couple of minutes.
