1. Staying in a place long enough to begin to feel at home, meet new friends, & really begin to know its culture.

Pick a small city—large enough with much to do—& use it as a base to explore an entire region. 🏄🏽‍♀️🏄🏾‍♂️ Durban was my base for all of southern Africa. #TRLT

replying to @HeidiSiefkas @HeidiSiefkas @loyaltytravels ... I think it would have to be a remarkably large neighbourhood. :D

That said, "place" is as large or as small as you need. My next plan involves visiting three towns in just over a week. The three towns are *very close* to each other. #TRLT

Q2. To quote Carl Honoré, ‘the Slow Movement is a cultural revolution against the notion that faster is always better. It’s not about doing everything at a snail’s pace, it’s about seeking to do everything at the right speed. Savour the hours and minutes!’ #TRLT

A2 Slow travel is a great way to really immerse yourself into a culture or place. You aren’t in a town/country for a short period allowing you to repeat favorites, take detours, and try new activities. via @charlesmccool #TRLT #traveltuesday
