@TheTravelCamel @ramblRramblR A2. In Mumbai: elephanta caves (R), pagoda (L) etc. Go south of Mumbai on konkan route and enjoy beach destinations all the way up to Goa. Forts in almost each such destination, makes for wonderful spot.

replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @ramblRramblR A2. Galata Tower’s a near neighbour and always guides our guests home from wherever they are in the city. There’s now a museum at the top in addition to fabulous views of #istanbul #TRLT
replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @ramblRramblR A2: I normally say the San Jacinto Monument, but the Julia Ideson Memorial Library in downtown Houston is pretty amazing #trlt https://t.co/HqT8gyHuzU and then you can go to the Monument. @VisitHouston

A1. I like many styles of architecture but perhaps what I like most is what might be described as 'Architecture without architects' like these defensive towers in Svaneti, Georgia #TRLT
A2 Visitors to Uzbekistan should not miss the summer palaces in Kagan, Bukhara, and Khiva. They're not always included in standard tourist itineraries so do ask your guide if you want to see them. #TRLT

replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @ramblRramblR A2: #TRLT We're in the Washington, DC area and you'll find many beautiful buildings, statues, and monuments. We always recommend seeing the Air Force Memorial and the Capitol Columns (in the National Arboretum)
A2: #VancouverBC's Art Deco Marine Building, was built in 1930 and was the city's tallest skyscraper. It's a piece of iconic architecture that visitors to downtown should not miss.
I love the way it stands out, yet blends in with the surrounding buildings.

replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @ramblRramblR A2 Well the Liver building is a big one, but the neo classical Central Library, Walker Art Gallery & St Georges Hall are unmissable, as are the famous docks with the UKs largest collection of grade II listed buildings and contemporary modernist museum #TRLT
replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel A2. I personally am I fan of the forts in the area to see good coastal views and get a history lesson. There are usually lighthouses at the same state parks as well. #trlt
A1. Hi #trlt, I really like blackhouses, although they would have been very tough to live in back in the days before electricity etc. This is Tiree (Inner Hebrides, Scotland).
The colleges of @UniofOxford like All Souls are a must see for architectural buffs. Every style from medieval through renaissance to modernism is here #TRLT A2
replying to @JLipowski @JLipowski @ramblRramblR A2) I'd say if you're in the area & have never seen the "Las Vegas Strip" then go there to see the various styles of architecture mixed together. #TRLT
replying to @featherytravels @featherytravels ooh yeh, I went in one in the museum on Lewis, they do feel like they'd be quite hard to live in. #trlt
A2 #TRLT Having to sign off early as it's #StBrigidsDay, other commitments. Window to honour #StBrigid (she was born nearby) at St. Michael's Church in Carlingford. Ireland
