A4 Again not a city, but an Italianate-style village in N Wales, @Portmeirion. Created by Clough Williams-Ellis, made famous by the 1960s fantasy TV series The Prisoner. If you come once, you may never escape. @BradtGuides #TRLT

replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @BradtGuides A4 #TRLT We love ancient architecture! We've visited places like Puma Punku (Bolivia), Borobudur (Indonesia), Petra (Jordan), and Luxor (Egypt) specifically to see the architecture and designs.

A5: I love a quick read from a guide book or travel blog. I think a good writer can give a bit of history, culture, and itinerary as to how to hit the highlights in less time than a travel video or podcast. via @LindaPeters64 #TRLT #traveltuesday

The UNESCO world heritage list is my go to for finding outstanding architectural gems on my travels - Can you name these four? #TRLT A5

A5: I usually do some research before I leave on a trip, by reading blogs. I trust blogs written by people who have travelled there more than any other guide. Also, I join the free city tour, which gives me quite a bit of information about the local architecture #TRLT

A5 My top tip for finding spectacular architecture is to look up! Uzbekistan has a lot of amazing pillars, minarets, & ceilings, the most beautiful parts of which are often towards the top. #TRLT

A5 #TRLT You will get a lot of information on walking tours. I typically go on one when I arrive in the city. Also a lot of information online & @RickSteves will talk about architecture on his program. The Chapel at the Air Force Academy in Colorado.
