A5: I love a quick read from a guide book or travel blog. I think a good writer can give a bit of history, culture, and itinerary as to how to hit the highlights in less time than a travel video or podcast. via @LindaPeters64 #TRLT #traveltuesday

A5: I usually do some research before I leave on a trip, by reading blogs. I trust blogs written by people who have travelled there more than any other guide. Also, I join the free city tour, which gives me quite a bit of information about the local architecture #TRLT

A5. #trlt Yes: guidebooks, niche blogs, but honestly my favourite thing is to just wander around aimlessly.

@TheTravelCamel @LindaPeters64 A5 : I'm quite classical : I use books.
Locals can also show you some hidden gems, which happened to me in Chicago : this is one of the first buildings (1896) designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, it's far from the city center. #TRLT

replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @LindaPeters64 A5. Random tip: Go to whatever you can but take your time once there. Sometimes the out buildings or nearby areas are very cool. Walk all the way around if possible. Sometimes just around the back you’ll get a whole new view or see something most won’t see. #trlt
