replying to @RTWBarefoot @RTWBarefoot It has a really beautiful story, and it is the reason why London looks like it does today. I have written a more researched article on my blog about it: https://t.co/dhh1mjLwJz #TRLT

replying to @JLipowski @JLipowski @ramblRramblR A2) I'd say if you're in the area & have never seen the "Las Vegas Strip" then go there to see the various styles of architecture mixed together. #TRLT

Q3: Most unusual piece/feat of architecture you've encountered in your travels @Loyaltytravels #TRLT Wat Arun in Bangkok, Thailand is pretty magnificent but there are too many to choose from.

replying to @CarolineMills99 @CarolineMills99 @BradtGuides Adore that photo on the top right. Looks like the sort of place for the setting of a Miss Marple story. #TRLT

replying to @OanaRoua @OanaRoua Ah, such a shame! Definitely do visit again if you get the chance. #TRLT

A2 #TRLT Having to sign off early as it's #StBrigidsDay, other commitments. Window to honour #StBrigid (she was born nearby) at St. Michael's Church in Carlingford. Ireland

A2. #TRLT The round church in Bowmore is pretty striking. (Islay, Inner Hebrides, Scotland)

A2. Visitors to Suffolk have a wealth of medieval churches to explore but they also shouldn't miss some of the quirky domestic architecture found in villages like Lavenham #TRLT

replying to @OanaRoua
@OanaRoua oooh! I shall read it after the chat - link opened already in waiting.
I know there's a few pumping stations - there's one over in Hounslow/Brentford that's now a museum too I believe #trlt

A2. Our Lady of the Snow Catholic Church in Sun Valley, Idaho by @McLaughlinArch, who also is the architect of @Blanket_Bay in NZ. Very interesting to see the similarities! #TRLT

A3 #TRLT I’ll offer two. The Federation Bells in Melbourne & the Dragon Bridge in DaNang, Vietnam.

I must leave #TRLT early - sorry! And unfortunately I cannot join next week. Hope everyone has a great month and speak with you soon!

A3 The pyramidal Palace of Peace and Reconciliation in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan, is quite unusual. Black on one floor, white on another, an opera house inside and - to misquote Reeves and Mortimer - some doves from above, too. @loyaltytravels #TRLT

A3 Has to be the Pineapple, Dunmore. The 4th Earl of Dunmore was governor of Virginia, where sailors used to stick a pineapple on a gatepost to announce their return home. On being forced home in 1777, Dunmore added the biggest pineapple of the lot to mark his own return. #TRLT

replying to @LindaPeters64 @LindaPeters64 Reminds me of the Smith Tower(in the background). It used to be the highest tower in Seattle, now it looks tiny. #trlt

A3: On a trip last autumn to the Drôme department in #France, I discovered Le Palais Idéal. A remarkable feat of architecture, built by the village postman over decades by picking up pebbles while on his post round. He was over 80 years old when he finished it. #TRLT

A3: How about the Shell Grotto in Margate? No-one knows for sure how or why this came to be, or how some 4.6 million British shells were spirited here to create the elaborate wall designs. But it is spectacular! #TRLT
