replying to @RTWBarefoot @RTWBarefoot @LindaPeters64 A1: #Persepolis in #Iran was such a famous name in #History that I felt the need to visit, wished I had more time to enjoy it! #travel #TRLT
replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @LindaPeters64 We remember the first time we were excited to see Lake Malawi- the ‘lake of stars’ as Dr David Livingstone once called it. #Malawi #TRLT
A1: a historically Famous Place that compelled me to visit was Savannah, Georgia; it's Historic District was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1966. With well preserved architecture and tree lined public squares, Savannah's known as the USA's first planned city.

replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @LindaPeters64 A1 The Vatican and the Peace Centre, two places I always wanted to visit, and did so in 2015! #Rome #Oslo #trlt
replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @LindaPeters64 A1. I kind of felt obliged to visit Rome. I moved schools regularly and each arrival seemed to coincide with a new course on the Romans. Turns out Rome’s still history. #TRLT
replying to @LindaPeters64 @LindaPeters64 A1) Growing up East of San Francisco the name John Muir is on numerous places (streets, hospital & schools) so I finally decided to visit @JohnMuirNPS to learn about him & eventually ended up volunteering there for over 25 years. #TRLT
A1 Samarkand is incredibly famous historically: it was the capital of the Timurid Empire which stretched from what is now Turkey to India. #trlt

Where Are You Joining Today’s #TRLT Fun From?
A1: The Colosseum. It had always been a place I’d wanted to see in real life, and it’s truly amazing being surrounded by so much history #TRLT
A2: Victoria Falls would be the most Famous Place I've visited. A truly remarkable experience. #TRLT
A2: Villarica Volcano in Chile. It was one of the hardest climbs I have ever done, I really didn't know what I was signing up to when I decided to go up. It was fascinating though, and the way down was so fun, sledging down the snow #TRLT
#Serengeti #Tanzania is one of the most famous national parks - I spent a day with this mating pair of lions #TRLT A2
A2. Maybe Victoria Falls. We went to both Zimbabwe and Zambia sides, and went to the Devils Pools to peer over the edge of the falls on the Zambia side. Was I impressed? Hell, yeah! #TRLT but my pic isn't nearly as nice as @TheTravelCamel 🙂
A2: Not much can beat the #GrandCanyon via @LindaPeters64 #TRLT #traveltuesday #adventure #arizona
