replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @Breathedreamgo A4) Throughout the United States & probably most of the World there's the indigenous people's stories/beliefs about the bodies of water that we regard as special which is another reason why we need to preserve them. #TRLT

A4 #TRLT anything significant, mythical or sacred about a river, waterfall or lake you've visited? Every river, waterfall or lake in Ireland and Scotland has its own story to tell across the centuries.

The Narmada River also called the Reva is the largest west flowing river of the Peninsula and rises near the Amarkantak range of mountains in Madhya Pradesh. It is the fifth-largest river in the country and the largest one in Gujarat.

A4 Kati Thanda-Lake Eyre is a salt lake and sacred to the local Indigenous people. It's only accessible by 4wd and floods occasionally. I've camped there a couple of times, once completely alone & flew over it when it was starting to flood
