A4 Hadrian's Wall is excellent for time travel back to Roman times. You can even use the brilliantly named AD122 bus (it is the Wall's 1900th birthday this year). Vindolanda and its remarkable writing tablets might be the highlight #TRLT @LindaPeters64
A4: Egypt really makes one feel that they have been transported back in time. Especially the Serepeum of Saqqara - the scale and feel of the place left me in awe. #TRLT
replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @LindaPeters64 A4. Part of the Exodus route goes through Wadi Rum. When you stand on the path you know it looks exactly the same as it did then when thousands of people were heading through. #TRLT

Lakhudiyar rock shelter was a rescue spot (from harsh climate) of early men. The walls (painting) here depict their life & the surroundings, painted by them back then. #trlt

#trlt A4: here we have a very old picture. It's from Jordan. And because of the dry contitions, and the fact the place has been habited for ... a while ... parts of it still felt 'old'. Like, sure, there's a road running through it, but it often doesn't feel noticeable.
A3: The Calanais Standing Stones on the Isle of Harris. The BEST island in Scotland?!? https://t.co/kJwWCpHpzy 🏴. #travel #TRLT #TravelTuesday #VisitScotland #scotland
A3 #TRLT There's a special place in my heart for the ancient wonders of #Pakistan. Someday it will be safe to visit again. #travel #writerslife @TheTravelCamel @JLipowski @RTWBarefoot @ShebsAlom
