replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel A2: I just love sitting in the warm sand and watching the sunset/stay for as long as the stars come out. Those are the sand dunes in Maspalomas/GC. #TRLT

replying to @WadiRumEscape @WadiRumEscape @LindaPeters64 That's great, part of the reason I went to my trip around the world in 2018 was to raise Accessibility Awareness. #TRLT

A3 We know that historically at least some of Uzbekistan’s deserts had a very different climate with a lot of trees, because there’s a petrified forest at Uchkuduk! #trlt

A3. part 2 🙂 I also thought Baines' Baobabs were pretty cool in the Nxai Pan of Botswana. Driving across the nearly featureless salt pan to get to them, it's surprising to find an oasis of such giant trees. #Trlt

A4 In the Kyzylkum - the desert which covers large parts of central Uzbekistan - it’s great fun to stay in a yurt or to sleep outside beneath the stars. #trlt

replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel A1: My second favourite desert was #Nazca #Peru - so mysterious with all the lines and stories about “who” made them and why. #TRLT

replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel A1. I'd have to say Jordan as well. I've been with @AKTravel_USA and with @FeynanEcolodge - both visits to the desert were phenomenal and yet I still want to go back for more.

I loved how truly off the beaten path Feynan was! #TRLT
