A1 – for all the historical sights – I have travelled to #Egypt.
Famously the historical sights are overwhelming – as can be the modern country #TRLT @RTWBarefoot #TRLT @ here is Karnak from the Sacred Lake
Good morning from Metro Vancouver B.C.
Where are you joining today's #TRLT chat on Historical Buildings from?
A1 Stamford in Lincs is well worth a visit, but we went mainly to see @burghleyhouse - built by Elizabeth I's right-hand man. Many highlights - top of the list are the Heaven Room and Hell Staircase, both designed by Verrio #TRLT @RTWBarefoot
A1: I specifically travelled to Granada in Spain twice to see the incredible Alhambra. I was even more impressed with my second visit 14 years after the first. #TRLT
A1. Did you know that Croatia is home to some of the world’s most impressive Roman sites? Our personal favourite is Pula’s amphitheatre. Built in AD69, this remarkable building is one of the largest surviving of its kind! #TRLT

A1 I've gone out of my way many times to see places such as Angkor Wat, Machu Picchu, many sites in Egypt, and the castles of Luxembourg #TRLT https://t.co/ljlvbTBgLm
replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @RTWBarefoot A1 : I went to Mostar 🇧🇦 to see the famous bridge (even though it's been rebuilt). #TRLT
replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @RTWBarefoot A1. I specifically went to @visitdetroit one time after I’d moved away from @PureMichigan to create photos of my favorite building in the city, the Guardian https://t.co/1r4co2hX61 #TRLT
A1. Architecture buffs should add Latvia’s capital city to the top of their list. Riga has the highest concentration of Art Nouveau buildings anywhere in the world – and they’re beautiful! #TRLT
A1: We've travelled specifically to see a historical building, when we visited the Holstein Gate, circa 1876 - 1887 in Lubeck, Germany. The gate marks the western boundary of the old centre of the city and represented it's elite status.

A1: At the start of the year, I flew out to Kars in the far east of Turkey to visit the ruins of Ani - an ancient Armenian city.
Well worth braving the sub-zero temperatures.

A1 #TRLT Just made a trip to Milan to enjoy an opera @teatroallascala. Great building, great music! @TheTravelCamel @JLipowski @Touchse @RTWBarefoot @LindaPeters64 @andrewaclement
A1: I went to Rome to see the Colosseum. It was my first trip abroad and the meeting with the Colosseum was pretty special. To this day it has a special place in my heart. #TRLT
