A1. Boasting classical French architecture, gorgeous gardens and stunning interiors, Dordogne’s châteaux are like something from a fairytale. Well worth the trip! #TRLT

replying to @JLipowski @JLipowski @RTWBarefoot A1) I guess you can say that when I went to London and saw Big Ben & the Tower of London and visited Paris and saw the Eiffel Tower & the Louvre. #TRLT

replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @RTWBarefoot A1: Not really. But I do enjoy seeing them though #trlt This is the old terminal at the VC Bird International Airport in Antigua. I do remember arriving here in the '80s. The new terminal is to the right, not as spectacular, but modern enough @VCBirdAirport

replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @RTWBarefoot A1: I specifically travelled to @nimes to see the incredible sites #LasArenas & #MaisonCarrée #TRLT #UNESCO

replying to @KirstenAlana @KirstenAlana Here are some other photos to further tempt you to visit Alhambra. #TRLT

A1. Yes! Our business began as a result. We fell in love with this ceiling after seeing it via an online estate agent - a trip from Singapore to Istanbul swiftly followed and now we offer it as a short stay rental ✨

A1. Last week Harriet headed to Bruges to catch a glimpse of the iconic Belfry tower. Standing at the centre of the city, this medieval structure draws visitors from across Belgium…and the world! #TRLT

A1. We did a trip along the Silk Road to see the historic buildings in Samarkand, Bukhara and Khiva #TRLT

A2. The Palace of Peace and Reconciliation is unmistakable on the Nur Sultan skyline. While the pyramid was only completed in 2006, it boasts a rich history in its role as a spiritual centre for many of Kazakhstan’s denominations. #TRLT

A2 Possibly Karakorum, because we were travelling through Mongolia and suddenly this huge, historic building was just...there, slightly buried by the desert and with no-one else around #TRLT

A2. Baghdad’s Kadhimiya Mosque dates back to the 16th century and is the largest Shia site in the Iraqi capital. Dominated by two glowing domes, this ornate place of worship is one of Islam’s architectural wonders. #TRLT

A2 Has to be @strawbhillhouse in Twickenham. The 18C creation of Horace Walpole, and a building which anticipated the Gothic Revival movement. It is rivetingly, theatrically extraordinary. @BradtGuides #TRLT

A2: Considering the time it was constructed (1500 years ago), the Hagia Sophia is Istanbul is arguably the most impressive historical building I've seen. #TRLT

A1 #TRLT #TRLT not travelled specifically to see this building but it seems as though it welcomes me back each time I return and I am always glad of that: Kings John's Castle, Co Louth, Ireland

(Teotihuacan though!) #TRLT

replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @RTWBarefoot A1. Rome, but mostly because historical buildings are all it has to offer. #TRLT

A2. So far, for me, all the towers of the Svaneti region in @georgiatravel_ #TRLT https://t.co/R7tDsEA03L https://t.co/P193rxzF6A

A2. Bobo’s old mosque is the largest in Burkina Faso, and a quintessential example of Sudanese mud-brick architecture. We’d happily travel across the seas to see these distinctive ‘sugarloaf’ minarets up close! #TRLT

A2: The entire site at Machu Picchu. Not just for the historical buildings which are an incredible living history, but also for the journey to reach them, on foot, for 5 days. It was such a special trip. #TRLT
