replying to @RTWBarefoot @RTWBarefoot A4. Bizarrely, Madagascar 3 inspired me to visit Monaco. I’d skipped it on a previous visit to Nice. #TRLT

replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @BradtGuides A2. Well, this is a tough one. India is full of such places and i would like to showcase the beauty and grandeur of Ajanta caves to ans this qn. [The Ajanta Caves are approximately 30 rock-cut Buddhist cave monuments dating from the 2nd century] #trlt

replying to @JLipowski @JLipowski @RTWBarefoot A4) I wish I could say that the mini-series the Adams Chronicles & the musical Hamilton inspired me to visit Adams National Historical Park & Hamilton Grange National Historic Site but I already was interested in seeing each beforehand. #TRLT

A5. Thanks for asking Shane. Conveniently, we have a brand new book absolutely jam packed with fantastic historical sites…and you can pre-order your copy now! #TRLT

A5 Too many to choose from! But, as well as visiting, how about staying in one? Many UK historic houses now offer accommodation including those which the @LandmarkTrust has saved and restored. Shown here are 4 extraordinary buildings in which we've stayed @BradtGuides #TRLT

A5: The very quirky Sir John Soanes Museum - London - the building itself is historic - in historic Lincoln's Inn Fields is the largest public square in London & inside is the world, through the eyes of one man. via @BradtGuides #TRLT @TheTravelCamel

A5: A work of art that changed the history of London forever: Crossness Pumping Station #TRLT

replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @RTWBarefoot A4. Slightly off key, but theatre buildings have just as interesting history as the productions they hold. My inspiration was phantom but her majesty’s theatre also has a fascinating past. 😊 #TRLT

How many of us have wanted to go… or actually gone (it me!) to Petra @VisitJordan because of Indiana Jones #TRLT https://t.co/ylHaNOtEfi

A5. Blenheim Palace is a masterpiece of Baroque, grand in scale and with all the pomp and stature inside and out that you’d expect from a symbol of victory. What’s not to love? #TRLT

replying to @RTWBarefoot @RTWBarefoot @TheTravelCamel @LindaPeters64 looks like it still does - https://t.co/DFH3O0PlGc #TRLT unrelated lady feeding the birds in Sarajevo when I visited. :-).

A5 I live in the UK and there are so many to choose from! Tintagel Castle in Cornwall, Lindisfarne in Northumbria and Corfe Castle in Dorset all ooze atmosphere #TRLT

replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @BradtGuides A5 : an obvious choice. (Picture : Wikipedia) #TRLT

A5 Historic house heaven is Twickenham, just west of London Heathrow. As well as Strawberry Hill House, there's Osterley, Syon, Ham and Marble Hill. And the more modest Turner's House (once home to the famous artist). And a grotto created by Alexander Pope! @BradtGuides #TRLT

A5. When Benjamin Disraeli bought the Hughenden estate in 1848, he acquired an enhanced social status that sparked his transformation into Britain’s future Prime Minister. The power of the right of building! #TRLT
