replying to @BradtGuides @BradtGuides @TheTravelCamel Definitely, though when I last visited the platz had been dug up and resembled a swamp. #TRLT
A3 Visiting Khiva feels like going back in time - the entirety of the Ichan Qala is an open-air museum and a @UNESCO World Heritage Site. #TRLT
replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @BradtGuides I had a terrific time in Albania. Great wine and the nicest people. Definitely go! #TRLT

A3. Get a taste of Roman life with a visit to Bath! Home to hot springs and public baths since AD60, the city’s historic allure has made it one of Britain’s most iconic destinations for centuries. #TRLT

A3 Avebury in Wilts is famous for its Neolithic remains, but Avebury Manor is fascinating in its own right. Dates from the 1550s, and a collaboration with the BBC for a TV series means that each room now represents a different point in the house's history @LindaPeters64 #TRLT
A3 - Step through the portal into the past in the Tomb of Nefertari – Valley of the Queens – #Egypt - very much a time capsule. The relationship of rulers with the gods – and what fantastic artistry @LindaPeters64 @TheTravelCamel #TRLT - here the Queen is hand-in-hand with a God
replying to @OanaRoua @OanaRoua @KirstenAlana @FourSeasons I visited both before and after the change. The big difference is a lot more people now - but that is also helped is that most of the Blue Mosque is closed due to renovations. #TRLT
Are you looking for a good hike and lots of water adventure too? https://t.co/BXwvjm4rDE You can find both when you visit Egmont on the Sunshine Coast in BC and explore the Skookumchuck Rapids. #TTOT #TRLT @BCNature

A3 Mehrangarh Fort in Jodphur. It is incredibly well preserved and you can easily imagine the raj of the past wandering around its grand rooms. The excellent audio tour also really helped transport me back #TRLT
replying to @ChinaMatt @ChinaMatt I've kind of never been to Venice. I changed trains there twice, one time of which involved a two-hour wait so I had a short wander. #trlt

replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @LindaPeters64 A3) Hubbell Trading Post National Historic Site in Northern Arizona easily transported me back in time because not only is it well preserved but its still in operation. #TRLT
replying to @TheTravelCamel @OanaRoua @KirstenAlana @FourSeasons PS: And also, a lot of the areas are closed off now due to being a mosque. Quite restricted now where one could walk. #TRLT
A3. More than any other ancient site in Iran, Persepolis embodies all the glory – and the demise – of the Persian Empire. After all, it was here that the Achaemenid kings received their subjects, celebrated the new year and orchestrated their rule. #TRLT

replying to @RTWBarefoot @RTWBarefoot @ChinaMatt Venice is beautiful out of season, between December - March, minus the carnival period. Otherwise is packed and horrible to visit. #TRLT
replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @BradtGuides A2: So hard to say. I'm fascinated by clocks and the fact that towns were centered around them and now most of them don't work, just shells of their former existence. #TRLT. But always cool to see the old ones that still work.
