A1; The most impressive engineering marvels I've seen (and especially considering their age) are the pyramids of Giza. #TRLT

London has its fair share of engineering marvels. This image has a range from the 11th to 21st century #trlt A1

A1 #TRLT Visiting the Gateway Arch, I watched a movie in the theater about itβs construction. It was a true marvel in engineering as they had to get every piece in just the right place to make it work.

A1: La Sagrada Familia in Barcelona is an amazing accomplishment of engineering, design, & human ingenuity #TRLT

replying to @LindaPeters64 @LindaPeters64 A1) Going through the Panama Canal & being up close when the tour boat was in the locks impressive me greatly. #TRLT

A1: The world has an abundance of Engineering Marvels, one that impressed me was this windmill in Zons, from the 15th century, which was in operation until about 1909.
Love how visionaries developed the ability to harness the power of the wind for food & electricity.

replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @LindaPeters64 A1. Iβm always blown away by Swiss mountain railways, and the rail network more widely. #TRLT

A1 The most impressive engineering marvel in Uzbekistan is the solar research institute / solar furnace in Parkent. It is one of only two such installations in the world & it reaches temperatures of 3000 Celsius. #trlt

replying to @LindaPeters64 @LindaPeters64 A1: Always been impressed by our local Engineering Marvel the Space Needle #TRLT

A2: Newgrange in Ireland is the oldest engineering marvel I've visited - dating back to approximately 3,200 BCE. #TRLT

replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @LindaPeters64 A1: As an #avgeek, that would be airplanes in general. Especially the 777 with its massive GE90 engines. Imagine flying 14+ hours, landing, refueling, adding engine oil, then head back another 14+ hours, to do it all over again. It's a testament to how much good we can do #TRLT
