TRLT

A5: For the British Isles, seafood is a large part of our culinary identity. Shown here: some seafood from the Humber Fish Company in Hull, E. Yorkshire @junkkdna #TRLT

replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @CharlesMcCool A4: Ummm. :-) Jamaica ;-) 2nd is tough, but I'd say Indian; they make that curry from scratch! Jerk pork and chicken being cooked in the photo #TRLT The chicken and pork has a special seasoning and is smoked on a fire with special wood that gives it its flavor @VisitJamaicaNow

A5: Also: pies and puddings. Two examples from Portsmouth on England's south coast: the pie menu from Pie and Vinyl (a pie and music shop); and bacon bread and butter pudding from the Hotwalls canteen. Yes, it is bread and butter pudding with bacon. Genius. @junkkdna #TRLT

replying to @LindaPeters64 @LindaPeters64 @junkkDNA A5: For England I am going to say cheese and pickle as in the Ploughman's lunch beloved of pub menus. Basically a large chunk of cheddar, a hunk of bread, some pickles and if you are being fancy, maybe some apple, salad or even a bit of ham. #TRLT

A5: Some flavours that best define local food, combine beautifully in pancakes with homegrown strawberries and blueberries, and apples, topped with pure Canadian maple syrup.

A5 Also in England - afternoon tea, of course. And where better than the Pump Room at #Bath to do it in style? #trlt

replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @RTWBarefoot A2: Portugal for all the pastel de natas. My entire mission find out where the best ones are served in Porto 😝 https://t.co/M6musonYiF #TRLT

replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @junkkDNA A5. I mean, there’s nothing quite like haggis, is there? Even though Scottish cuisine is obviously much more than that. #TRLT

replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @junkkDNA A5: It's the jerk spices, oxtail, curry goat, mannish water and our fruits. #TRLT Photo of fruits at a market in Montego Bay, Jamaica. @VisitJamaicaNow Check out my blog https://t.co/iNan8YSQvn for some flavors :-).

replying to @LindaPeters64 @LindaPeters64 @junkkDNA A5) The regional sandwiches of the United States like the Grinder (Connecticut), Cheesesteak (Philadelphia) & Poorboy (New Orleans) help define the various tastes of the country. #TRLT
