replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @TravelAtWill Glad to be near quite a few - Ohiopyle, Laurel Highlands, and near WV too. Here's a pic from New River Gorge NP that we stopped at a couple of weeks ago

replying to @RTWBarefoot @RTWBarefoot @TravelAtWill #A1 #trlt Huge variety of cliffs and canyons in the south of France, also often popular in films.

It all leads down to Monaco, the only place where I've been stopped for using a tripod :)

replying to @LindaPeters64 @LindaPeters64 @TravelAtWill A1: Buona serata. We are still in holiday mode after our Ferragosto holiday yesterday…
#WeAreInPuglia, so most people think of Polignano a Mare (pictured), but there are amazing examples all along our Adriatic coast. The last James Bond visited Gravina in Puglia

A1: a favourite area to enjoy canyons, cliffs or gorges, is Costa Rica; with rugged mountainous terrain, breathtaking waterfalls, and exploration through water filled gorges.

replying to @LindaPeters64 @LindaPeters64 @TravelAtWill A1. There aren’t too many canyons on the east coast of Scotland but there are plenty of cliffs, my favourites being between Arbroath and Aberdeen. #TRLT

A2 #TRLT We can’t have a chat about Canyons without the Grand Canyon. This was the North Rim Observation Building.

#TRLT A2: my profile picture is taken on a walk like that - at Stanage Edge in England's Peak District. It's a place I find very chill and lovely to just 'be', yet still conveniently close to Sheffield.

A2 I just visited Skellig Michael this summer. I had to moonwalk up and all the way down again. I did it. Yay. #TRLT

replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @LindaPeters64 A2: At the end of each walk, and sometimes in between, we need to find a place to bathe, to cool down given the intense heat of the #Salento summer sun.
We love #MarinaSerra’s natural swimming basin, carved out of the rock.

A2: There are a whole heap of fantastic clifftop walks on the Isle of Wight, offering spectacular views without needing to climb far at all. #TRLT

#trlt a2: Inverclyde, west of Scotland, has this. You can't tell well, but there is a sharp cliff just in front of where I'm standing.

Views towards Arran or Bute.
