replying to @RTWBarefoot @RTWBarefoot @LindaPeters64 A2) One of my favorite such walks is at Montezuma Castle National Monument in North Central Arizona, there you can take the nature walk from the Visitor's Center that takes you back in time. #TRLT

replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @LindaPeters64 A2: this is also from St. Ann's Head. I didn't dare go any further when I snapped this photo. It's a sheer drop #trlt

replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @LindaPeters64 A2. I was up in Moray a couple of weeks ago and really enjoyed the short but scenic stretch from Cullen to Portknockie, partly for the ice cream at one end and fish supper at the other but also for the views. #TRLT

A2: The best view of a canyon, cliff or gorge without a hike was this one of Mosi-oa-Tunya (Victoria Falls) at Sunset in Zambia. #TRLT

A2: Cheating a bit as there is a bit of walking up a bit to get the old castle built on top of the cliff, but then you walk through corridors like this built into the cliff

A2: Canyons, cliffs and gorges can provide stunning views and great walking adventures without climbing high peaks. A favourite photo from a recent walk, shares cooling off at 30' falls a gorge formed by Lynn Creek,
on a hot Summer day at Lynn Canyon Park, North Vancouver.

replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @LindaPeters64 A2: The Petit Train d'Artouste gives you spectacular views of the French Pyrenees without having to walk at all LOL. There is a hike at the top though, up many many many steps to a great lookout :-) #TRLT

#TRLT A2: when I did my Hike Across Great Britain in 2019, we came upon a few cliffs, especially by the sea. They provided some good walking paths, except the bits where the sea was eroding them quite quickly ... [one cafe we went to no longer exsists].

replying to @OanaRoua @OanaRoua Oh, how nice the snow looks! Especially in the summer heat of #Salento! Though we do sometimes get snow in our olive grove, once every 3 years, and only for a few hours!

A2 Walking in the Nurata Mountains you’ll discover so many canyons, gorges, & cliffs, without having to climb to high altitudes. This is a favourite spot of mine in the Sentob Valley. #TRLT

#trlt A3: The Outer Hebrides (St Kilda pictured) and Orkney (Mainland and Westray pictured), beyond the edges of Mainland Scotland, have all the vibe of the Irish coasts and far fewer tourists. :)
