@DoroLef @TheTravelCamel @postcardsplaces The red is the bauxite. A clay rock with ore of aluminium. It was mined, which is why we have the man-made quarry hole here. The blue of sky and green of trees is typical Puglia (the region that forms the boot of Italy’s heel).

A winding road takes you up to the monastery from the Vorotan River, or you can take the impressive "Wings of Tatev" ropeway and fly straight over the gorge.

A4: Montezuma Castle, built between 1100 and 1425 AD, Camp Verde, Arizona, shares the ingenuity of the Singua people. Living 27m up a limestone cliff, with it's placement protecting it from exposure to the elements and enemy tribes, is admirable. #TRLT
