replying to @t_jh2009 @t_jh2009 @LindaPeters64 @JLipowski @RTWBarefoot It's that sort of weather that make pools feel like a tepid bath. #TRLT

@LindaPeters64 @CaitlinKellyNYC A3 I would like to return to Las Vegas, my wife refuses to return as she things it’s tacky, fake and too much gambling.
But that’s why I like it 🤷🏻♂️

replying to @RTWBarefoot @RTWBarefoot @CaitlinKellyNYC #TRLT A3: Central Asia. It used to be difficult for me to take extended time off in Spring or Autumn so we ended up with a Silk Road trip visiting Xinjiang province and Uzbekistan in August. We ended up visiting Jiaohe at 6.30 pm as it was too hot earlier in the day.
replying to @loyaltytravels @loyaltytravels Yes, I forgot to add ice-cream. Looking forward to the weather here going from warm to hot - then it's time to buy ice-cream again. #TRLT

replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @CaitlinKellyNYC A3: Yup; everywhere, the heat doesn't really bother me; just dress appropriately and keep hydrated #TRLT. The Namibian Desert was pretty intense.
replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @RTWBarefoot @CaitlinKellyNYC Thank you! It was an inspirational sunrise that morning at Oljato-Monument Valley #TRLT
replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @CaitlinKellyNYC A3: Deserts aren't my favorite destinations, but I'd still be up for going to them. I've already been to Death Valley, so other places can't be that bad. #TRLT
replying to @HMatthews67 @HMatthews67 @RTWBarefoot @CaitlinKellyNYC This was a wise decision. You don't want to mess around with the heat. #TRLT

replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @CaitlinKellyNYC A3) Since I live in the Mojave Desert I really don't have any choice other than the time of day when I decide to go to places. #TRLT
Yes. #BritishColumbia is a must visit destination! One of my favourites, but I am biased… @HelloBC #trlt https://t.co/At1g7ICcIo
A3: there are many places that I would still go despite their reputation for excessive heat, as unfortunately, this seems to be the new normal. Travelling during shoulder seasons works well.

replying to @loyaltytravels @loyaltytravels @CaitlinKellyNYC I too have a good tolerance to heat. But still one needs to prepare. #TRLT
replying to @CaitlinKellyNYC
@CaitlinKellyNYC @LindaPeters64 It’s definitely a place that people either love or hate.
I would hate to go every year, but once every 10 or so just to see what new stuff they have been up to since last visit would be enough.

replying to @StripeyMiata @StripeyMiata @LindaPeters64 It's so not my scene at all. But I enjoyed staying at the Bellagio (paid for, speaking at a conference.) #trlt
replying to @HMatthews67 @HMatthews67 @RTWBarefoot @CaitlinKellyNYC Anywhere in Xinjiang in August is far more tolerable than Beijing or Chengdu. #trlt
replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @LindaPeters64 @JLipowski @RTWBarefoot You also need to be very careful driving in the desert during Monsoon season because flash flooding is a common occurrence. #TRLT

A4: Most refreshing food or drink to cool off in hot weather - cold, icy water. Water is my favourite drink at any time of the year, but especially so in hot weather. #TRLT
replying to @StripeyMiata
@StripeyMiata @CaitlinKellyNYC Las Vegas charms, me as well Jonathan. From the surreal feeling of excess comes the warmth of humanity, people enjoying indulgences and fun. People watching and street culture entertain wonderfully.

A4: Freshly grilled lobster in Belize, in Caye Caulker. And a cold tropical cocktail! Perfect! #TRLT
A4 #trlt I took a food tour in HCMC, Vietnam & they took us to the Saigon Flower Market where there’s lots of food & drink.

replying to @loyaltytravels @loyaltytravels July and August are cooler months. Days are the high 20s Celsius (low 80s Fahrenheit) but nights are in the low 20s (low 70s Fahrenheit). We get gusty ocean breezes as we are only 200 metres from the shore - this keeps things cool. #TRLT
