#TRLT greetings from Scotland! Hope you've all had a good week. Today we're talking "Long Journeys".

My two 15-mile wanderings on Sunday & Monday were 'long' but I've done much longer journeys, as I'm sure you all have too.

A1: I left Australia in December 2012. I've not returned to Australia since that time, nor settled in another country. Nearly 10 years without being in a place with any residence status - this is my longest journey. #TRLT

#trlt A1: I hiked 952 miles across Great Britain once. 57 days.

If that counts as a 'journey' as opposed to 'a series of consecutive days of hiking, separated by rest and sleep'.

#trlt A1: otherwise, I was on a train for about 4 days and 4 hours (it was late!), from Ulaanbaatar to Moscow. Back in 2006 when it wasn't trendy.

A1: The last time I went to Kenya it was D.C. to Istanbul to Mombasa. Over 24 hours from the time I left my house to when I arrived at my hotel. #TRLT

A1: the longest journey, in distance, that I've enjoyed was travelling to Australia's Gold Coast, at over 13,000 km.
