A4: The Juche Tower in Pyongyang is the most recognisable structure in North Korea. However, it's not well known outside of the country. #TRLT

A4: The mountains in Madeira. The scenery there is incredible, I've never seen anything like it. #TRLT

A4 As a good Canadian, we would want to consider east coast lighthouses like Peggy's Cove to be iconic landmarks. https://t.co/17ec2M0aMC #TRLT @LindaPeters64 @heidiSiefkas @PeggysCoveArea @VisitPeggysCove @VisitNovaScotia

A4 How about the Astronomical Clock in Prague; or the Campanile in Venice; or the Street of the Knights in Rhodes Town; or the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul? All magnificent. #TRLT

A4 #TRLT We consider it an iconic landmark, but not too many people outside the region knows about Haystack Rock about 10 miles south of me in the town of Cannon Beach. It stands 235 feet tall (72m).

Qatar has a lot of fine architecture and art but these monoliths in the desert are stunning #trlt A4

replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @TravelAtWill A3: The bread loaf and Byron Bay for sure. The latter because public transport is really shit and if one thing is cancelled you’re kids stranded there. Bread loaf bc of the monopoly and dependency of Yulara which is at times annoying AF #TRLT

replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel A3 #TRLT - that's a tricky question because if it's iconic to me, do I want everyone else to know about it?

So yes, if there's a shared history and a sense of beauty then I'd say so.

Hold my beer .....

replying to @LindaPeters64 @LindaPeters64 @TravelAtWill A3. Xativa castle. It's hard to walk the ways and stairs for anyone with the slightest walking problem. Nothing to hold on. Plus there's no shade. I took a cab up and decided to walk down. Took me an incredible hour and there was not a single bench on the way.

#TRLT A1 Going to a performance at @teatroallascala lives up to its hype as the world's greatest opera house. Paid for the best tickets. Not sorry. #opera #operafan #iconic #Italy #Milano

replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @TravelAtWill A3: Can't think of one; so as it took forever to get to the Okavanga Delta in Botsawa, that is the one. Flew to Namibia; drove from Windhoek to the Delta area and camped out. The part I didn't like was camping out lol #TRLT #OkavangaDelta #Botswana

replying to @DoroLef @DoroLef @TheTravelCamel @TravelAtWill Yes it is; I'm not a happy camper lol. I grew up in the country, so now I want running water, hot water, no bugs and electricity :-). PS: It actually wasn't too bad after all #TRLT. Next time I'm staying in a Lodge lol.
