replying to @CaitlinKellyNYC @CaitlinKellyNYC @LindaPeters64 The road trip from Calgary is all mapped out. I am waiting for the right moment in time :-) #trlt

RT @Ken_Budd: A3: It was a long trek from Mombasa to Tsavo National Park in Kenya, but well worth it. #TRLT https://t.co/fBH0DMKcVD

RT @TheTravelCamel: Q4: Share a photo of a landmark that deserves to be recognised as iconic. #TRLT

replying to @Ken_Budd @Ken_Budd Tsavo is an underrated park in Kenya. A huge area with so much to offer. #TRLT

A4: The Juche Tower in Pyongyang is the most recognisable structure in North Korea. However, it's not well known outside of the country. #TRLT

A4 Two suggestions from Japan: the floating torii gate at Miyajima and the Peace Park in Hiroshima #TRLT

replying to @LindaPeters64 @LindaPeters64 If you come and visit Berlin, we go for a walk and see it again, Linda :-) #trlt

replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @LindaPeters64 @HeidiSiefkas @TajMahal @incredibleindia We were so glad to see it at different times of the day and see that colour change. I must admit though that the Red Fort might have been more stunning as an overall site for me. #TRLT

replying to @TravelAtWill @TravelAtWill @LindaPeters64 @HeidiSiefkas @TajMahal @incredibleindia Agreed. This should have been my answer! #TRLT

A4: The mountains in Madeira. The scenery there is incredible, I've never seen anything like it. #TRLT

replying to @DoroLef @DoroLef @TheTravelCamel @TravelAtWill Well, I was with my mum & bless her she felt a bit dizzy as it was a spiral so it took us about 25-30 mins. Your eyes do go abit funny coming down a continuous spiral but at least we got good views of the city at night through the tower lens. the journey home was 👎🏽 tho. #TRLT.

A4 As a good Canadian, we would want to consider east coast lighthouses like Peggy's Cove to be iconic landmarks. https://t.co/17ec2M0aMC #TRLT @LindaPeters64 @heidiSiefkas @PeggysCoveArea @VisitPeggysCove @VisitNovaScotia

A4 How about the Astronomical Clock in Prague; or the Campanile in Venice; or the Street of the Knights in Rhodes Town; or the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul? All magnificent. #TRLT

RT @OanaRoua: A4: The mountains in Madeira. The scenery there is incredible, I've never seen anything like it. #TRLT https://t.co/zN4IGzOE…

replying to @LynnMPattnosh @LynnMPattnosh @LindaPeters64 @HeidiSiefkas @TajMahal @incredibleindia Definitely worth making the effort to visit. I would have been very sad to leave India without seeing the Taj Mahal. #TRLT

@DoroLef Id love to revisit Berlin, we only had 2 days to discover some of it's iconic beauty, Doro 💞

A4 #TRLT We consider it an iconic landmark, but not too many people outside the region knows about Haystack Rock about 10 miles south of me in the town of Cannon Beach. It stands 235 feet tall (72m).

Qatar has a lot of fine architecture and art but these monoliths in the desert are stunning #trlt A4

AGAIN Q4: Share a photo of a landmark that deserves to be recognised as iconic. #TRLT

replying to @LindaPeters64 @LindaPeters64 A4: The Brooklyn Bridge because w/o a woman it wouldn't exist. The original engineer, John Roebling, got tetanus/lockjaw, died. His son took over, also too ill so his wife Emily took over, in the late 1880s, unheard of for most women. There's a plaque to her on the bridge. #TRLT

replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @TravelAtWill A3: The bread loaf and Byron Bay for sure. The latter because public transport is really shit and if one thing is cancelled you’re kids stranded there. Bread loaf bc of the monopoly and dependency of Yulara which is at times annoying AF #TRLT

replying to @DrNeilMatthews @DrNeilMatthews Rhodes is wonderful - it deserves more recognition. #TRLT

replying to @TheTravelCamel
@TheTravelCamel A3 #TRLT - that's a tricky question because if it's iconic to me, do I want everyone else to know about it?
So yes, if there's a shared history and a sense of beauty then I'd say so.
Hold my beer .....

@LindaPeters64 @TravelAtWill A3. Xativa castle. It's hard to walk the ways and stairs for anyone with the slightest walking problem. Nothing to hold on. Plus there's no shade. I took a cab up and decided to walk down. Took me an incredible hour and there was not a single bench on the way.

replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @TravelAtWill A3: Can't think of one; so as it took forever to get to the Okavanga Delta in Botsawa, that is the one. Flew to Namibia; drove from Windhoek to the Delta area and camped out. The part I didn't like was camping out lol #TRLT #OkavangaDelta #Botswana

replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @DrNeilMatthews Last summer, I visited Rhodes. twice 😍🌊 #trlt Opposite of #trlt but super regardless.
