Where are you joining today's #TRLT chat on 'Hidden Gems' from?
replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @JLipowski @LindaPeters64 Greetings #TRLT from my "Hidden Gem" in the Mojave Desert.
Hello #TRLT! I'm at home in Prestwood in the #Chilterns. This local 'hidden gem' is the Ship Money monument, marking the refusal of local landowner John Hampden to pay Ship Money to King Charles I in the lead up to the English Civil War.
A1: Las Geel in Somaliland is a Hidden Gem that few have visited. Easily the finest cave art I've ever seen. #TRLT #Somaliland
A1: Tell us about an amazing Hidden Gem that you found during your travels? Show us a photo! via @postcardsplaces #TRLT
A1 #TRLT In Bermuda, there’s the Crystal Caves. This is what you see & be careful, you look down in the water & you see many smartphones at the bottom.
A1 Down a narrow alley off the high street in Peebles, in the Scottish Borders, is a remarkable mural depicting 2,000 years of the town's history #TRLT @postcardsplaces
replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @postcardsplaces A1. I was really impressed with Aberdeen University’s Zoology Museum last week, which it inexplicably took me sixteen years to find. #TRLT

replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @postcardsplaces A1: The town of Fiumicino, Italy is quite good. It's a great taste of Italy without all the fuss of Rome. https://t.co/Ahbq8xnzY6 #TRLT #Hiddengems
A1 The Bar Convent in York is England's oldest surviving convent, built in secret at a time of persecution of Catholics. The chapel has an original priest hole, 8 exits and a dome hidden under a pitched roof. We liked the note on the organ too. #TRLT @postcardsplaces
replying to @LindaPeters64 @LindaPeters64 @postcardsplaces A1) Though the Garden of the Morning Calm was part of my tour of the countryside in South Korea it was a Hidden Gem because relatively unknown outside of the country. #TRLT

I remember the 21 people who died as a result of the volcanic eruption on White Island on 9th December 2019. Many were injured. Volcanologists advise that a visit is unsafe. Visits are no longer possible.
A1 #TRLT I always find this former water source in Carlingford, Ireland, a peaceful place and a reminder that good will lives on. Not exaclty hidden I guess but not exactly famous, either, and easy to pass by #Hiddengems #travel
A1: Hello everyone 😀 This is a wonderful Dalmatian hidden gem - Torak viewpoint #Croatia #TRLT
replying to @DrNeilMatthews @DrNeilMatthews @postcardsplaces That’s almost as impressive as this one in Stirling. Such an historic city. #TRLT
A1: an amazing Hidden Gem that we found during our travels was the Verde Hot Springs, Arizona.
A once popular resort, said to be the vacation spot of gangster Al Capone, that now remains abandoned. #Photo: Doug Smith
