A4 For @HMatthews67 it's Cardiff's Temple of Peace, for its beauty and its noble aim (to promote peace and health). For me it's Berlin's Stasi Museum - because some of the Stasi would have been alive, kicking and walking among us: a chilling thought. #TRLT @BradtGuides

A4. The Palace of Peace and Reconciliation makes any visit to Astana worth it. While the pyramid was only completed in 2006, it boasts a rich history via its role as spiritual centre for many of Kazakhstan’s denominations. #TRLT

A4 #TRLT There's a saying that when you sing in a place your echo remains in the walls. One modern historic place that feels that way to me is Club Passim in Cambridge, Massachusetts (this is at Matt & Shannon Heaton's winter holiday concert)

A4 Most of those which had the most impact have not been on the Road Less Travelled, but this location on the southern tip of Chile marks where the Selk'nam people were victims of a genocide. It's a desolate place visited by very few tourists #TRLT

A4. For bookworms, a visit to the Chilterns is bound to leave a lasting impression. Once home to Roald Dahl, Kenneth Grahame and Percy Shelley, this stretch of countryside is packed full of literary history. #TRLT

replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @BradtGuides A4. Not a modern historic place as such but it was housing an exhibition which covered an modern historical event - the titanic. It had pieces that were found from the wreckage or from survivors as well as replicas of parts of the ship. Very moving. #TRLT

replying to @RTWBarefoot @RTWBarefoot @BradtGuides A4) I'd have to say that the Anne Frank House is Amsterdam had a huge impact on me even though because of my mobility issues I was unable to go inside. Just being outside I started to visualize the city being occupied by the German Army. #TRLT

A4. Scattered across former Yugoslavia are an abundance of abstract war memorials, dubbed by many as 'spomeniks.' Built between the 1960s and 1980s, each monument stands to commemorate the profound losses suffered in World War II. #TRLT

A5. Did you know that Croatia is home to some of the world’s most impressive Roman sites? Our personal favourite is Pula’s amphitheatre - we’d happily spend a birthday exploring this iconic building up-close! #TRLT

replying to @BradtGuides @BradtGuides @HMatthews67 Shown here: the Church of St Giles in Stoke Poges, burial place of Thomas Gray. A stone sarcophagus displays some verses from his 'Elegy written in a Country Churchyard' - one of the best-known poems ever written in English. #TRLT #Chilterns
