replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @BradtGuides A4. Not a modern historic place as such but it was housing an exhibition which covered an modern historical event - the titanic. It had pieces that were found from the wreckage or from survivors as well as replicas of parts of the ship. Very moving. #TRLT

A4. Scattered across former Yugoslavia are an abundance of abstract war memorials, dubbed by many as 'spomeniks.' Built between the 1960s and 1980s, each monument stands to commemorate the profound losses suffered in World War II. #TRLT

A5 We love staying in historic places which @LandmarkTrust has restored. We haven't stayed here yet (https://t.co/1UytBcMU3v), but my mother would have been amused at the idea of me deliberately staying in somewhere called The Pigsty! #TRLT @CharlesMcCool
A5: I've love to return to the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul. Even though I spent a few hours there - I'd want to return and stay there for longer. #TRLT

A5 #TRLT When I turned 40, I saw Cape Canaveral in Florida. At 50, I took a safari in Africa. For 60, I will take the ultimate trip & see Antarctica. It will be the end of the season, but I’ll get there.

replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @CharlesMcCool A5. Angkor Wat…it has been on my list for agessss. I was meant to go for my 40th…which was instead spent in lockdown - so hopefully soon. It has fascinated me for a very very long time (and it looks so fabulous!) #TRLT
