replying to @LindaPeters64 @LindaPeters64 @CharlesMcCool A3: During the Nobel Prize week in December, #Stockholm is lit up by light art installations themed after that year’s Nobel Prize winners. This is City Hall, from 2021 #TRLT
A3: I walked the seven stations of the cross in Jerusalem—and got lost. Had to follow a tour group to find my way out. #TRLT
replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @CharlesMcCool A3. Most of the tours I’ve done have been indoor and self-guided, but I went on a more wide-ranging tour of Boston and really enjoyed it. #TRLT
A2 #TRLT I love exploring the hill that #Ljubljana castle is on. Great hiking paths, with views and good food at the top. Feeling like a Queen. #UrbanExploring @TheTravelCamel @TravelAtWill @HeidiSiefkas @LukeandTylerTr1 @LindaPeters64 @CharlesMcCool
A4 We always love to find outdoor art. So an outdoor sculpture garden in a city is always a treat to explore. This one in Oslo had some interesting pieces to generate conversation. https://t.co/8ss1J2egay #TRLT @pip_says @Touchse @LindaPeters64 @VisitNorway @VisitOslo
replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @LindaPeters64 A4 I love starting any visit to a new city with a free walking tour. It's a great way to learn about the history of a place, get your bearings and get recommendations for things to see/do/eat - all for a discount! #TRLT
A4 #TRLT I like to find either a walking tour or a tour bus to get familiar with the city before I explore it myself. This was Porto, Portugal.
A4 finding some sort of memorial is normally quite a nice break from the rest of the city as well as being interesting #TRLT
A4: Urban areas can be wonderfully restorative, a tip for enjoying the most of a city or town visit, is to get out and wander; rain or shine!

@LindaPeters64 A4: Research a city via Instagram before you travel. Look at hashtags and geotags to find local gems. Like this cool art installation with umbrellas that I found in Dublin, reflected in this car. #TRLT

A4: Just spent a few days in Carlsbad, CA. Nice town and the sunsets were definitely restorative. #TRLT
replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @LindaPeters64 A4. I think the most fulfilling city breaks are the most multifaceted. Yes, it’s nice to see the sights and feed off the excitement of a crowd, but it’s also nice to branch off. I find following a river to be a great way to bisect a place and get a more rounded view of it. #TRLT
replying to @LindaPeters64 @LindaPeters64 A4) I like to take some type of organized tour of an urban area/city that will show me the major landmarks so I don't have to figure out how to get to each on my own. #TRLT
