A4 We always love to find outdoor art. So an outdoor sculpture garden in a city is always a treat to explore. This one in Oslo had some interesting pieces to generate conversation. https://t.co/8ss1J2egay #TRLT @pip_says @Touchse @LindaPeters64 @VisitNorway @VisitOslo
replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @LindaPeters64 A4 I love starting any visit to a new city with a free walking tour. It's a great way to learn about the history of a place, get your bearings and get recommendations for things to see/do/eat - all for a discount! #TRLT

A4 #TRLT I like to find either a walking tour or a tour bus to get familiar with the city before I explore it myself. This was Porto, Portugal.

replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @LindaPeters64 A4: Hmmm. I love old-school bars w a ton of history/atmosphere (Pete's Tavern, NYC for one.) Or a gorgeous spa like Bota-Bota in Montreal (on a boat!) Mostly, slow down. Way down. People watch. Sit for hours in a cafe or restaurant or park bench. #TRLT
A4 finding some sort of memorial is normally quite a nice break from the rest of the city as well as being interesting #TRLT

@LindaPeters64 A4: Research a city via Instagram before you travel. Look at hashtags and geotags to find local gems. Like this cool art installation with umbrellas that I found in Dublin, reflected in this car. #TRLT

replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @LindaPeters64 A4. I think the most fulfilling city breaks are the most multifaceted. Yes, it’s nice to see the sights and feed off the excitement of a crowd, but it’s also nice to branch off. I find following a river to be a great way to bisect a place and get a more rounded view of it. #TRLT
replying to @LindaPeters64 @LindaPeters64 A4) I like to take some type of organized tour of an urban area/city that will show me the major landmarks so I don't have to figure out how to get to each on my own. #TRLT
