They represent Mother Earth, as it is a source of goodness and its milk nourishes all creatures.

This is by the lake just down from my house. There are thousands of pelicans. Lots of them hang around the fish shop waiting to be fed- or stealing food just like seagulls. My 3yr old granddaughter wanted to pat them

replying to @sumarumi @sumarumi @postcardsplaces Very wisely! About one kilometre north of my home is a lovely sandy estuary that leads into the ocean. The only problem is that it is populated by hippos - so not a good place to swim! #TRLT

@HHLifestyleTrav Fabulous fun, as long as they do not attack. My guy threw a handful of chips up into the air at a Vancouver beach and I was surrounded by seagulls and crows, definitely a memorable experience. 😁
