A5: I would love to encounter a #wombat in the wild. But so far have had to make do with this one in Adelaide Zoo. #TRLT

replying to @HHLifestyleTrav @HHLifestyleTrav @TheTravelCamel @LindaPeters64 I wasn’t expecting the US to have such striking birds for some reason. It was love at first sight with blue jays. #TRLT

replying to @KathSwinbourne @KathSwinbourne @TheTravelCamel @CaitlinKellyNYC OMG. My mum hit a kangaroo (just the tail luckily) on her way through the outback. Even the tail totalled one front light and bumper. Very scary! #TRLT

A5 Cross your fingers ... we are hoping to go to Antarctica in February and see more penguins! #TRLT @TheTravelCamel @LindaPeters64 @JLipowski @heidiSiefkas @RTWBarefoot

replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @RTWBarefoot A5: I NEED to go to various countries in Africa (Tanzania, Kenya, Namibia and South Africa at the top of my list) to see the amazing wildlife there. I'm obsessed with zebras, so seeing herds would be marvellous. Plus elephants, lions, hyenas, singing Lion King songs haha #TRLT

A4: At Everglades National Park, I actually saw a woman get in the water to cool off her feet. Not smart. #TRLT

Saw this family of #gorillas @zsllondonzoo and hoping to see them in the wild #trlt A5

A5 A platypus. I've spent a lot of time sitting quietly by rivers where I knew platypus lived but have never been lucky enough to see one

@HHLifestyleTrav @findinganeish @TheTravelCamel This little poser hopped close-by on a walk last week. : )

A5: Wildlife that I would love to see in the wild, that I haven't yet, would be the elusive koala bear. After a 3 week roadtrip on Australia's Gold Coast and alot of searching to no avail.
Luckily we did see a red wallaby
and kangaroos. 🦘

replying to @Ken_Budd @Ken_Budd I did a trip there and the boat pilot was handfeeding them marshmallows while paddling in the water #trlt

replying to @LindaPeters64 @LindaPeters64 @RTWBarefoot A5: a quokka. So cute! also polar bears and penguins. #TRLT

replying to @LindaPeters64 @LindaPeters64 @RTWBarefoot I had the exact opposite on my 3 months in Australia, came across loads of Koalas, Wallabies and even Duck Billed Platypus but had to wait an age to see Kangaroos. #trlt

replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @RTWBarefoot A5. I love dolphins and see them regularly on the east coast of Scotland, but I’d like to see them up close. Also, whales and orca. And it would be great to see a wild ibex in the Alps. #TRLT

replying to @LindaPeters64 @LindaPeters64 @HHLifestyleTrav @TheTravelCamel Oh, cute. Some kind of thrush maybe? #TRLT

One of if my most amazing wildlife encounters was when a dingo came into my campsite when I was alone in the Simpson Desert. It stood about 3m away from me, and then proceeded to wander around and go to sleep under a nearby tree

replying to @KathSwinbourne @KathSwinbourne @TheTravelCamel @CaitlinKellyNYC So I’ve heard! It doesn’t surprise me in the slightest. I’ve been chased a couple of times but the right to roam in Scotland means that many trails take you through fields. #TRLT

replying to @CaitlinKellyNYC
@CaitlinKellyNYC @RTWBarefoot Yes! I'd love to see polar bears in their natural habitat too, Caitlin.
I tried to get to Churchill, when in was in Winnipeg, Manitoba a few years ago; but unfortunately I didn't have enough time to take the train, North.
