Deutsches Museum: Munich 🇩🇪
So much science and technology in 1 building.
I completely nerd out on physics, geology, astronomy.
Plus, on clear day, rooftop view of Alps, incl. Zugspitze.

replying to @postcardsplaces @postcardsplaces MOV is fantastic. I loved visiting when they had their Haida Now exhibit going on. #TRLT https://t.co/yWCrE9AvtY

replying to @KirstenAlana @KirstenAlana @TheTravelCamel @KelvingroveArt It is that. Always favourites to revisit and new things discover or notice, including the changing lights on these. #TRLT
replying to @StripeyMiata @StripeyMiata @TheTravelCamel A1 #TRLT Good #motor museums are great eg Ferrari in Modena, Italy; Beaulieu in Hampshire or the British Motor Museum near Stratford upon Avon, where we saw this vintage vehicle

A2 Pedant's point: there's no such thing as 'most unique'! Anyway, N Korea's International Friendship Exhibition is a collection of gifts from foreign leaders to NK's rulers. No photos allowed inside: imagine the Generation Game conveyor belt x 1 million. #TRLT @postcardsplaces

@t_jh2009 Preserves the pueblo ruins, the monuments stand out beautifully, Tim.
#TRLT
replying to @KirstenAlana @KirstenAlana It's the only museum I've ever been a member of! But I'm lucky and live within walking distance, and their exhibits are always worthy of visiting more than once :) #TRLT

A2 #TRLT Probably the Museum of Broken Relationships in Zagreb, Croatia. These are stories of relationships & how they ended, with artifacts that were used during or when the relationship ended.
A2 There’s nowhere quite like the Savitsky Museum in Nukus. It’s nicknamed the Museum of Forbidden Art because so many of the artists exhibited there were purged by Stalin, yet Savitsky managed to rescue their artworks & keep them safe in faraway Karakalpakstan. #TRLT
A2 For unusual #museums, look no further than Margate's @CrabMuseum. Does exactly what it says on the, er, tin. Humorous and educational, with a diorama of a fictitious 1926 English town. There's a small 'Carb Museum' as well. Marvellous. #TRLT @postcardsplaces

replying to @UZAmbassador @UZAmbassador A2: Hardly out of the way, but NYC's Tenement Museum really shows what early immigrant life was like. It remains v popular and it's really moving -- not just another display of early wealth and power, as so many museums are. #TRLT

replying to @DrNeilMatthews @DrNeilMatthews @CrabMuseum @postcardsplaces England is littered with museums to unusual things, isn't it? I'm sure people have written books on this. Like the pencil museum up north which i've still not made it to. #trlt
replying to @RTWBarefoot @RTWBarefoot @postcardsplaces A2. I went to a Sistine Chapel exhibit this year. That might not seem especially strange, but it was in an ice rink in Glasgow. I also went to an excellent 9/11 exhibition in, er, Leipzig. #TRLT

@RTWBarefoot @postcardsplaces A2 Probably the Mazda Museum in Hiroshima as you get to visit the actual production line where the cars are built, and I got to see the actual line mine was built one.
Unfortunately as a working factory they don’t allow photos in it so here is outside the HQ.
