A4: Things don't always go as planned while travelling.
An unplanned highlight from our travels, was a foodie hike in Québec's Jaques Cartier National Park. The guide wasn't advised of the 'foodie' part & didn't bring any food.
Thankfully, the park & guide were both amazing

A5: Allow extra time for international flights - especially those with connections. Plan to arrive a day earlier than intended. You never know when a travel delay is laying in wait. #TRLT

A5: a travel-related lesson that I relearned this year, is to trust our instincts. This lesson is especially important to me, since the start of Covid, as the desire to stay healthy during our travels is a priority.

We were hiking in woodland in Mlanda, Ntcheu & spotted this Giant Eagle Owl! A really rare sighting, only the 2nd time in twenty years in this location. #TRLT #Malawi #owls
