A5 Tip for Pakistan: take multiple copies of all the paperwork. And keep them all handy for use at a moment's notice. Don't (as another British visitor did) assume you won't need your entry visa when you're leaving the country, and pack it in your luggage! #TRLT @postcardsplaces

A5: Allow extra time for international flights - especially those with connections. Plan to arrive a day earlier than intended. You never know when a travel delay is laying in wait. #TRLT

Ontario and Quebec) and yes, I got stupid COVID at the very end, likely in upstate NY. My mental health relies on travel and new/renewed friendships; I saw 11 pals in CA. It reminded me of that. #TRLT

A5 #TRLT Booking apps don’t always work. Sagrada Familia wanted you to book tickets through their app, but the app didn’t work, even for them. They finally had to relent & sell me a ticket directly,

replying to @DrNeilMatthews A5 Also for Pakistan: if you can, travel light. We had hand luggage only. As the journey was 17-18 hours each way, that was quite long enough. if we'd had to wait for hold luggage, goodness knows how much longer everything would have taken. #TRLT @postcardsplaces

A5: a travel-related lesson that I relearned this year, is to trust our instincts. This lesson is especially important to me, since the start of Covid, as the desire to stay healthy during our travels is a priority.

@TheTravelCamel @postcardsplaces A5 I used to love taking videos with my GoPro. It failed 1 week into my 3 week vacation as water got into it.
Funny thing was. I didn't actually miss it and enjoyed looking around me taking things in instead with my eyes.
