A1: A favourite travel story is one that gives me a sense of place - a sense of being away from what I know, being somewhere new or different. #TRLT

replying to @t_jh2009 A1) For me it's those moments which could be a combination of things. Like when I had a nice conversation with the tour guide while in South Korea's Garden of the Morning Calm. #TRLT

#trlt a1: ultimately, my favourite travel stories come from experiences I have. And these experiences are mostly when I can stand and go 'welp, I'm finally here'.

replying to @LindaPeters64 @LindaPeters64 A1: For me, it's usually making unlikely and lovely connections with people; in Kenya, I sat with some Maasai women and children and lent the kids my sketchbook and colored pencils. I treasure the little drawings they made. #TRLT

A1: One of my fondest memories in recent times is spending time on this island, in Tunisia, Kerkennah, surrounded by nothing apart from cats and the sun setting #TRLT https://t.co/Q7fgojuIqK

replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @CaitlinKellyNYC A1: The landscape. I just got back from Faroe Islands, and it was cold, but gorgeous. Everything is blanketed with snow, but yet, people are cool, cordial, and happy. Didn't meet a grumpy one. Even the bus drivers are nice :) #trlt @VisitFaroe

A1. A favourite travel story is often the most unexpected one! I ran into 2 wonderful superheroes at a charity sports event @ Lumphini park in #Bangkok : Superman and Batman posing in a scorching heat on a Sunday afternoon - for children with Down Syndrome. Wonderful!🤗❤️🙏#TRLT https://t.co/MEXPLnF27L

I have a few travel stories this gentleman inspired. At this particular event he was talking about his famed scene with gorillas and how they nearly didn't film it #trlt A1

A1 Our friends live in Schmitten, Switzerland. We were planning to see them for many years and went in August. They are dairy farmers that sell their milk to the local coop to make Gruyere🧀. Being on the farm, eating local foods, and spending time with them was terrific!#trlt
