A5 Although now found elsewhere, Swiss Raclette is an unusual dish. Melt the flat of a semi-hard cow's cheese round then scrape it on to small potatoes in their jackets served with pickles. Best to drink white wine or black tea for digestion – not water. Image: @wikicommons #TTOT

A5. I guess in The Netherlands, eating raw- salted herrings is a strange custom. you hold your head back and your mouth open and then, holding the fish by it's , still attached tail, above your open mouth you proceed to eat it! #ttot

A5 I've been trying to trace the origins of this dish that's been in my upstate New York family, it's whole mini potatoes in butter and milk! I know that in Ireland potatoes used to be moistened with milk and I have a lot of Irish ancestry so I always wondered. #TTOT
