A2. I have yet to visit a ruined castle (I've only been to ones that have been restored), but there are plenty of them in Ireland so I'm sure I'll get to one eventually @aardvarksafaris #TTOT

A2 Well worth the visit: The Rock of Cashel (St. Patrick's Rock), #Ireland, @ancienteastIRL dates from 5th c. Most ruins left are 12th & 13 C. #Celtic art & medieval ruins of buildings including a cathedral. Superb views of the countryside. Images: @SonjaSwissLife #TTOT

A2 Not a great picture of one in Sicily, but there are so very many castles looking over the sea, with very steep cliffs. The combination of danger, views, and imagining being attacked sets my imagination wild and makes me want to hang out there as a hermit. :-) #TTOT

A2. St, Mawes Castle in Cornwall, GBr. It's really very small and the only castle I have ever visited that I could imagine actually living in! #TTOT
