Q2 via @nordicexp What’s the most off the beaten track destination that you’ve ever visited and what was it like? #TTOT

replying to @SonjaSwissLife @SonjaSwissLife @NordicExp A2 #TTOT. A game reserve in Sumatra, where we were told to keep the car windows up.

But my 8 year old nephew. Had other ideas.
He grew up that day. Chuckle.

A2. Hard to say! But maybe this remote slot canyon tucked away in southern Utah...supremely beautiful and we were the only ones there. #TTOT

A2: Walking the southern part of the #OregonCoastTrail, didn't see another human for 24 miles. Peacefully isolated. #TTOT

A2 An off the beaten track area I loved (& it took hours to get there) is the mystical phenomenal #Meteora #Greece. Vast spread of geologically unique mountains with monasteries perched on top. More: https://t.co/ZAGuljLmHk #TTOT Images: @SonjaSwissLife

A2. One time we drew a diagonal line from the south west of France to The Netherlands and just followed it as closely as possible. although not really remote we passed through a whole lot of places we would otherwise never have visited. #ttot

A2 Great travel plan. It miust have been fascinating (with a few industrial detours?) But now you really know the countries you went through. I've done similar things with Google Earth -finding places along shorelines for example. #TTOT https://t.co/965amUodr5

replying to @WanderWorld_ A2 my father lived in Sierra Leone and we went to visit him. I was 8 years old, and it was like nothing I'd ever seen before. We saw incredible beaches, met inspiring people and my viewpoint on the world completely changed. It was amazing and terrifying! #TTOT

A2 What a cherished moment in your life and I understand somewhat how it transformed your view of the world although I was much older when I went abroad. Glad for you. Thanks! #TTOT https://t.co/N2HRRZpJq6

More random than off path, but was working in Toulouse. One weekend noticed sign that said Andorre, so just decided that would be weekend I went to Andorra. Pretty, but expensive.

A2 I love impulsive travel decisions. Thanks for your story (and travel tip on Andorra) #TTOT https://t.co/Ukc1tFMEhh
