replying to @SonjaSwissLife @SonjaSwissLife @aardvarksafaris A4- To enjoy your impulse travel trips you need to be flexible; a lot more flexible than you think you can. You just have to go with the flow and deal with what comes. One should travel light (pack less), use public transport and try to #travel in off season. #TTOT

#TTOT A4: 1) Don't worry, be happy. You just can't stress when things go awry on a moment's notice 2) TALK TO STRANGERS! Helps you discover things on an impulse trip you didn't have time to research!

replying to @SonjaSwissLife @SonjaSwissLife @aardvarksafaris A4: Flexibility is essential. You won't have a grand master plan, just a lot of options and potential problems. Be mindful of exactly what you can and cannot control. Just roll with whatever happens. #TTOT

A4 keep an eye out for cancellations. We made some last minute trips / adjustments when we got the waiting list call or found a suddenly open reservation for a wish-list restaurant. #ttot

A4 Good advice. @todayInIreland Worry doesn't help. If one is traveling solo - there are only strangers to talk to - have a chat #TTOT https://t.co/PjSCzkdC4C

A4 Use #AIrbnb or #VRBO and find yourself in the middle of a residential neighborhood. #TTOT

replying to @TravelDudes @TravelDudes @aardvarksafaris A4. Stay local, don't fly, use the bike/ train/ bus to get there, bring your tent or hammock and sleep outside for a night! #TTOT

Be flexible and consider all your options. You don't have to take a plane, check out coaches and trains that can take you to far away places at a fraction of the cost. And probably even to places you can't fly to!
Embrace the spontaneity!
