Q2. via @StevenOnTheMove What is one important thing you consider a pro and one important thing you consider a con of traveling by yourself? #TTOT

A2 #ttot A pro is you are able to see and do what you want. I guess a con would be getting lonely. I typically don’t. If I’m not doing something, I’m usually asleep or online.

A2 The freedom is a definite pro. The con would be not having someone to bounce ideas off, especially when things go awry #TTOT https://t.co/rTdQXtyfqX

A2 Travelling solo requires focus which leads to deeper experiences that one might miss otherwise. The downside is usually the logistics esp. dealing with luggage alone (that won’t fit into the ladies’ room!). #TTOT Image: @pixabay

A2. Con first. Not having a loved one to share special views with.

Pro. Sharing those views with people who appreciate them as much as you do.

A2. Pro; you can do what you want, where you want and when you want.
Con - not being able to share those moments, mutual support on the bad days and eating/drinking alone #ttot

replying to @StevenOnTheMove @StevenOnTheMove #TTOT A2: Pro you can do whatever you want and meet loads of new people.
Contra: it can be lonely at points (if you are not a person used to it) and going alone to a restaurant can feel odd at times for some.

replying to @wheresshellyii @wheresshellyii @StevenOnTheMove A2 Pro: I don't have to worry about anyone elses snoring but my own.
Con: a package deal costs more since I don't have a second person for a room. That "great deal" isn't so great when paying for it twice.
and they don't give me twice the cake from the buffet! #TTOT

A2 Which is why minimal/carry-on only packing is brilliant, especially for solo travellers. Me and my 40 litre pack fit nicely into any cubicle #TTOT https://t.co/I93iGX0cPC

A2 Agree, Laura. People who don't travel solo have no idea about the importance of dealing with the bags. Thanks @dailysuitcase #TTOT https://t.co/aBmWmCukap

A2 This is a big plus for solo travel. It opens doors to great people. Thanks @theRTWguys #TTOT https://t.co/OrtOIc5eVi

A2 Yes. @SharLivingstone carry-on is the only way these days and we have to learn how to pull it off. Amazing how we know the size of every airport toilet. #TTOT https://t.co/pjU0VUl9Ga

A2:
A pro of traveling solo is it's easier to rent rooms on the sly from locals. A con of #solotravel is the Single Supplement- a total ripoff if you ask me. I rarely spend a DIME in a hotel that charges one. #ttot
