A1: Nowadays you don't need that much equipment anymore. The smartphones got so good, that they offer all the needed stuff to travel easier. Camera, maps, internet. #TTOT

A2. We don’t. If we’re out of the US for longer than a month, we notify our carrier and pay $10 to suspend our cell phone line.
We use WiFi when we’re abroad and enjoy being offline most of the time.
We spent 2 months in India and got a SIM card there but rarely used it. #TTOT

If Im travelling further afield -and need my phone for connectivity on the move then I’ll get a local sim or portable wifi router… #ttot
