A2. Overcrowding during the busy times can be an issue at the Cliffs, but the #cliffsofmohercruise gives a unique and comfortable perspective! Book your cruise here: https://t.co/1FRCvnj9Ax #visitburren #TTOT #lovedoolin https://t.co/pKpFHtcZgh https://t.co/4sa1z1cRz1

replying to @SonjaSwissLife @SonjaSwissLife @aardvarksafaris A2-Opting for alternate destinations is a great way to reduce over-tourism. Last year I chose to travel to #Ljubljana, capital of #Slovenia, instead of #Venice. And I was able to enjoy its rivers, boat rides, and romantic bridges without the crowd. #TTOT #Travel

A2 Proposed less well-known alternative places to major #travel hot spots, not necessarily better, but they have some similarities to the popular experience. #TTOT

A2 Ladakh in Winter – A roadtrip to leh Ladakh is a major attraction in India.Usually people visit in summers to get a clear landscape, however we did it in October, just before Ladakh closes for all tourists due to extreme weather conditions.

A2 Interesting. Is this really #overtourism or just crowded at peak times? Are any measure required to improve access to this place? #TTOT https://t.co/3oS99KpJEh

A2: Instead of going to Hakone in Japan for your onsens, check out Shibu Onsen near Nagano, a lot quieter and you get the snow monkeys! #ttot

A2 While you get a clear sky and good weather for a roadtrip during summers, Ladakh in October was postcard perfect. Absolutely breathtaking – white and pure.

A2 Excellent. Thank you. #Ljubljana is a growing desirable destination but #Slovenia is aware & making efforts to offset any future #overtourism. Let's hope it works! #TTOT https://t.co/D95wVHvdq9

A2 Thank you @travelhouseuk . I was hoping to offer a guideline but of course, there are other areas at risk of #overtourism and other areas in need of #tourism #TTOT https://t.co/eB84q0kCTw

replying to @SonjaSwissLife @SonjaSwissLife @Pinkzenjoy #TTOT A2. It's partly about planning by the Indonesian authorities. They need to restrict development in some areas and promote others. Especially on other islands such as Sumba. This picture is from Sumba.

A2 Thanks so much @StuartMHurlbut It's gorgeous & hopefully tourists can redistribute their visits & protect the local culture & environment as it is. #Sumba #TTOT https://t.co/Uxo1DysJuc

A2: Heading to Koh Chang in eastern Thailand instead of the well-trodden islands is one way to enjoy the stunning beaches without the crowds. One of the few islands in the country with a hiking scene too! #ttot (not my photo)
