Q3) via @AmandaKendle What do you say to people who think you shouldn’t take young kids traveling because they won’t remember it? #TTOT

replying to @SonjaSwissLife @SonjaSwissLife @amandakendle A3- The benefits outweigh the cost & hassle. Travelling with kids is a wonderful experience, and it opens possibilities for them to look at the world with a broader view, respect other religions/cultures/ethnicities. Your child will sound more learned as he grows. #TTOT #Travel

A3 @AmandaKendle asks: What do you say to people who think you shouldn’t take kids traveling because they won’t remember it?

We think while kids may not remember too many specific details they'll have positive emotional memories and a curiosity that will last for life! #TTOT

A3 Experiences make up who are you, whether you remember them or not. I don't remember everything from my childhood, but it's still formed who I am as an adult. #TTOT #travel https://t.co/N02kaiWkQ6

A3 I completely agree with you. It is a great privilege in life to have parents who can take their kids travelling & come back with new eyes and minds. #TTOT https://t.co/dvCpaJxBUu

A3- Kids remember a lot more than you realize. Even if they don't remember the details of travel, that spirit of adventure and willingness to try new things sticks with them

A3 It's more of the family bonding experiences along with photos and videos memories that would be priceless in the future when the kids grew up and looked back on it.

A3: I can remember getting stuck in an airport toilet when I was 4 - kids remember things, they may not be the good memories but they remember, lol #ttot

replying to @wheresshellyii @wheresshellyii @amandakendle A3: They do remember though. We took our 3 year old to New York and she recognised this straight away in Tokyo Bay last week. #TTOT

A3 Nicely put "emotional memories" and especially "curiosity" for a lifetime! @madridandbeyond #TTOT https://t.co/tOduWVlKpz

A3 Excellent point. That would be a very good lesson that could get them through all their lives. Thanks @travelhouseuk #TTOT https://t.co/Fp7XMResa3

A3: I have travelled to many places around the world when I was younger and I still remember it. I am so glad I did do this because from a young age this taught me that everyone has a different lifestyle around the world and have different cultures etc. #ttot

A3 I think so also. #TTOT https://t.co/bPZCBwP5Nr

A3: haven’t had anyone say it! But I would say: you’d never do anything with them with that attitude. It’s formative and it’s not just about them. #ttot https://t.co/EQweFmFou7

A3 So true. They're "family" memories & the stories are all told in many different versions every time they're told in my family. #TTOT https://t.co/XW7EqbjJ0h
