A2. A round trip to kolkata from Bangalore. got a rebate of Rs.2300. usually people dont keep an eye on the airline website directly but we had turned on the price alert option for instant messages on price cuts.

A2 It was a @TurkishAirlines flight to Tokyo which I booked during a sale, on a Tuesday morning and via an online agent who had obviously sacrificed most of their commission in the hope of selling me a hotel! I think I paid just over £400 in peak season @CharlesMcCool #TTOT

replying to @SonjaSwissLife @SonjaSwissLife @CharlesMcCool A2-In May, my colleague, who happens to be a travel expert for #SA flights, asked me to wait for #AirFrance Special Airfares.
Luckily, he was able to book a return flight for 359GBP, which was 450+ earlier.

replying to @SonjaSwissLife @SonjaSwissLife @CharlesMcCool A2. I found a first class seat for less than the price of the regular economy simply by switching to the red eye flight. Generally I find deals by being flexible on dates and/or destinations. The more locked in you are on specifics the harder to find a deal #ttot

A2. A return flight to Singapore to Hokkaido, for SGD$5xx, transit in Taipei, flying Scoot, a budget airline. This was bought 6 months in advance. Full fledged airlines from SG to Hokkaido can cost up to 3x more.

replying to @SonjaSwissLife @SonjaSwissLife @CharlesMcCool A2-Though not a big fan of their carryon policy and 5€ for this and 5€ for that, think @Ryanair still have the best deals-short flights. Recently when to Marrakesh for 65€ roundtrip.

I always use @Skyscanner

A2 Thanks for the tip for SA flights. I was not so lucky during my TransAtlantic flights with AF operations - tendency to be on strike. But otherwise, usually a good airline. #TTOT https://t.co/SFwlqTg9XN

A2 Those were the days for sure. I went Lisbon to London recently on Wizz for 7€ BUT plus €8 service plus plus for anything else but it was still a bargain although ALL of the flights were late on every day I flew. #TTOT https://t.co/9gsLljd3h6
