A2: I try to support with buying local products incl food at markets. I hate tours but if, I go for small local companies not the big ones. Best experience ever been in Iceland, going into the glacier with Vigfús. https://t.co/aseK14j566

replying to @TravelDudes @TravelDudes @aardvarksafaris A2 Definitely try to eat local and shop local as much as possible while travelling. Not only does it support the local economy but it's more authentic and more environmentally friendly! #TTOT

A2: One easy way is to eat local in small family owned restaurants. Good food usually and great stories when you get to talk to local folks there or the owners.

A2 I try to eat at locally-owned restaurants and support local businesses when shopping. These are also the best places to eat and to shop! #TTOT

A2: When #hiking, I like to buy lunch in the owner operated mountain huts. I also support small independently-owned stores/ bakeries/craft shops. Open air markets are good too. #TTOT https://t.co/p4jrRilaQ4
